Just a bad choice on my part. It is not easy to use it for long--hear the humming and start getting hot. Also, a minor thing, but noteworthy, it's not very attractive. Kind of clunky looking. One thing that is the most frustrating is that in different laptops, it seems to have some sort of glitch and causes errors in my computer--shuts down several times.

why buy a bare drive when you can buy the same drive with a case and usb interface for the same or less? just makes sense, even if you end up taking the drive out for whatever purposes you have.

I purchased this neat little hard drive for my netbook, being that it had limited storage. It surpassed my every expectations. The USB plug and play feature requires no external power. I now use it on both my netbook and my laptop.

Okay, so I got a Cirago 80 GB. After the normal format it took about an hour, so what I got it for was for music. I rip Music CDs and put them on my external hard drive that is a Western Digital Passport 250 GB. But I dropped it ( IT still works but I wanted to be safe) So I got this one. It works and actually was shipped fast (Got it today) all in all a well item ( shipping was a little suprised ) All in all, I recomend this.
