 "Epic Fail" 2009-11-22
By Gregory (Leesburg, VA)
After using this for about 3 months access became intermittent. I was at work, having just promised a customer that I would have a cd of their photo restoration burned for them in a few minutes and blam! Access Denied! Fortunately I did have the drive recently backed up at my home office so the data was not totally lost and the customer's request was only delayed, not impossible to meet. Later I took the thing apart and connected the actual hd to my computer using an old Western Digital portable enclosure and that worked just fine. The chasis is very well constructed but the integral cable is a seriously weak link. It's too short and obviously prone to breakage. I might concicer buying another if it just had a simple plug-in cord, but never again with the current cord configuration.

"DO NOT BUY - LOSES ALL DATA" 2009-11-10
By Candace Wallace (jersey, of course!)
R U kidding? In this day and age to lose data is unconscienable. Consumers need to band together and make sure these manufacturers stop selling junk!

"Stopped working after 2 weeks!!" 2009-11-09
By CJG (Minnesota)
Loved this at first, but shortly after I put all my back-up files on the drive, it stopped working. I tried three different computers and none of them can see the drive.

 "Do NOT buy!" 2009-10-20
By M. Kim (Los Angeles, CA)
As with Kika5, I cannot access the drive. Kika5 was lucky in that the drive worked for 3 weeks! Mine only worked for 1 day, and then it died. Please see my comment to Kika5, but basically, no one can access the drive, it's defective, and therefore I cannot access my data. It was a backup, but there are personal things on this drive. I am tempted to just destroy it and throw away, but this is a total waste of $82. If I could rate it lower than 1 star, I would rate it -10!!

"Best concept and Best drive ever" 2009-10-08

This puts WD and Seagate to shame hands down. Best drive I ever owned
