I has been used in my home office a few times and has been handled with care.
Drive all of a sudden stopped working.

I had it for 12 months - Crashed 3 times in this period - Seagate will honor the warranty, yes, but it's no fun to keep shipping it back and forth to be repaired/replaced. Not to mention it takes around 20 days for the complete process (from the day you ship it to moment you get it back). When it crashed for the fourth time I just threw it away and bought something I can rely on - I'm much happier with my WD Passport unit now...

It backs up your material really easily. It took me a while to figure out how the software was mapping my drives, but after the backup schedule is established you push a button and it works.
